Wow! Miss who ever she is tried to rent a room from me in Hawaii. My 1st clue that it was a scam was when she wanted to send me a money order to pay deposit, rent and shipping her items. Some guy from South Africa posed as a woman over a year ago and tried that scam. He actually sent 3 checks via UPS. The only one who profitted from that scam was UPS. I turned everything...e-mails & checks over to the police. Something needs to be done to stop this chick. How about the FBI??? When do they get involved?

Anyway, she, Anja James, claims to have been born in Finland and raised by her uncle since the age of 13 and she works for the Red Cross in South Dakota. What an imagination!!!
She sure doesn't look Finnish to me.

Here's one I got in Perkiomenville, PA - I just couldn't get over the "Medical Humanitarian Nurse" and homeless babies? where in the heck would she find them around here? It just didn't make sense, I googled the job description and nothing came up used some more key words and your blog came up! Thanks for setting this up. Thought I'd share my letter.

I just wanted to say thank you as well. I wouldn't have sent her any money or anything but the inconsistency in her language was what tipped me off. The first email was completely fluent in English however the second one sounded like she couldn't speak English to save her life. But I googled her "uncle's" company and this came up! So thank you!

OMG, i just got a reply to my room for rent ad from this person on craigs list as well. I knew it sounded fishy so I googled her name and some of the references she made, and sure enough, this link came up with almost the exact same correspondence. What is her agenda? I know this is a scam, but not sure how or what the pay off is. Please enlighten me...~Tess
